2018 was a great year for gaming with some top games hitting the shelves, especially towards the end of the year. With games such as Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War being released, it really was a great year for gaming.
However, what games can you look forward to in 2019? We take you through the top 10 games that are being released in 2019.
Kingdom Hearts 3
We will start with a game that we thought was going to be released last year but it is now scheduled to be out very soon and we cannot wait! With new worlds to explore and some old faces returning, we cannot wait to play this game and carry on the brilliant story!
Cyberpunk 2077
With no scheduled release date, Cyberpunk looks to be a fun game. You play as V who is a customisable character exploring the open world metropolis of Night City. Throughout the game, various different missions and quests allow for suitable upgrades and customisation throughout the game.
Resident Evil 2
This classic game is getting the remake fans have called for! This classic game that was initially released in 1998 is getting the treatment it deserves. With new graphics for gameplay and cut scenes, it should make for an excellent remake.
Anthem
Anthem has the potential to be an amazing game, but you never know with EA. From what we know, there will be a lot to do and explore within the Anthem universe. With an emphasis on squad gaming, Anthem looks like it could be a solid game.
Metro Exodus
Metro Exodus follows the story of a survivor who is making his way across Russia in a post-modern era. With mutated animals to try to get past, Metro Exodus could be a sleeper for game of the year. Especially considering how good the first two games in this series were.
Jedi: Fallen Order
A Star Wars game where the storyline is the priority and not the multiplayer aspect. This is a game some of our DLG Computers Star Wars fans cannot wait to play! The story supposedly follows the events between Star Wars Episode 3 & 4. With the storyline following the life of a Jedi Padawan shortly after Order 66, this game could be the best Star Wars game in a long time!
Skull and Bones
Skull and Bones offers a more realistic take on piracy in comparison to potential competitor, Sea of Thieves. With a single player campaign as well as multiplayer game modes, Skull and Bones looks to be a fun and exciting game, filled with great detail and stunning graphics.
Team Sonic Racing
Sonic the Hedgehog and the gang are back for some racing. Luckily, for everyone else, Sonic is limited to using karts. This game is taking a different approach on normal racing games with the aim of the game being to split into teams and getting the highest combined score, not the position of where you finish. This game looks like it could be fun and enjoyable game for everyone.
The Division 2
Following on from Tom Clancy’s The Division, The Division 2 builds on from the previous events. This new game takes place in Washington D.C seven months after what occurred in the first instalment to this series. We are hoping The Division 2 can build upon the success of the first game and be an even better game.
Mortal Kombat 11
From what we have seen from the trailers, NetherRealm Studios look to have continued their great work with the Mortal Kombat franchise. As mentioned, from what we can see so far, the gameplay looks brilliant as we see Scorpion and Raiden fighting each other. This game is certainly a favourite at DLG Computers and we cannot to get our hands on this game!
